After I've downloaded and extracted the latest zip file (httpd-2.4.46-win64-VS16.zip), the Symantec Endpoint Protection has detected some extracted files (e.g. *.exe, *.so) with following error and moved them to Quarantine.

I often download the Apache HTTP binaries from ApacheLounge. There was 1 zip file 2 years ago with checksum problem.
Is it helpful to submit the information to Symantec (https://symsubmit.symantec.com) to dispute it since it should be false positive? |

I've submitted but not sure whether they will update it or not. Since all my PC/servers have the Symantec installed, I wonder how would I apply the latest version of Apache httpd... |

Which files he is complaining ?
On their site:
If you are confident that you are experiencing a false positive and cannot wait for the dispute process, the product allows you to manually remove items from quarantine. To do so, open the main window and click on “History” ....... |
