Among the industry leaders in robotic systems and home appliances, Panasonic has been dominating the massage therapy chair market as well with products aiming to replicate the sensation of human touch.
The way they attempt to achieve this is through adhering to three robotics principles: Technique, Brain and Sense. The concept 'Sense' just means that they engineer their chairs so that they are responsive to the user's needs.
For example, the Panasonic MA73 chair features various massage settings that can be adjusted for coverage and intensity. In addition, it is one of just a couple massage chairs that has memory settings that make it possible for users to save all of their favorite massage series.
Although Panasonic is based in Japan, it is very important to know that they manufacture some of their chairs in China to save on costs. However, Panasonic does assure consumers that they oversea their operations and their massage chairs are engineered and designed in Japan which means the quality stays first-rate.
