Sometimes while using Windows Defender to the system an error code 0X800704EC occurs. It mainly occurs due to corrupt or broken Registry files. It may stop during the scan or refuse the scan request. If you are facing such issue follow this steps:-
1. Uninstall all another antivirus.
2. Open the Control Panel.
3. Go to Programs and Features.
4. A program like an antivirus appears.
5. Search Windows Defender option.
6. Check is it enabled or no.
