Hello, with a webserver that will be having 1000+ hits an hour grabbing many 4MB files so I was wondering what settings should I use of the below;
should I turn on or off KeepAlive
should I increase ThreadsPerChild to 1000
<IfModule mpm_winnt_module>
ThreadsPerChild 150
MaxConnectionsPerChild 0
</IfModule> |

Keep an eye on the Apache error.log , when it is running out of threads you get a message like: Server ran out of threads to serve requests. Consider raising the ThreadsPerChild setting.
Leave the KeepAlive on. |
