I am trying to finish the 5-minute installation of WordPress, but I encountered multiple problems.
The wp-admin/install.php file displays as a bunch of code
after I change the database name, username, password, and localhost in wp-config-sample.php and save it as wp-config.php, wp-admin/install.php still doesn't work
I looked at the requirements for WordPress and find out I need to install PHP version 7 or higher, but can't find where I install it from
I finally figured out how to get Apache to run properly by changing the port, but I still can't launch WordPress. Also, I can't access the localhost because chrome says the page can't be found. |
