We have all that problem:
What are the new/changed settings in the conf of a new build of Apache or ini file from PHP ? Or you changed a file and want to see the changes.
Checking manual takes time and you easy overlook changes.
If you have a Windows box handy you can do a diff against them and see what lines are different or wich files ar different in a directory with the following utitlity from the MS SDK:

With above program you can clearly visualize the differences between two versions of the same text files or changed file(s) in a directory. Very convenient for rolling back inappropriate changes you made to a file, or for double-checking the changes somebody else made to a file you sent them.
