Hello,
I am planning to upgrade a Apache server from 1.3.41 to 2.4 version, due to some CVE. I am planing to upgrade.
I need some expert advice what are the items need to be consider before upgrading the Apache version.

All your 3rd party modules will not work, some may have never been updated to 2.x.
Access control is much different beginning with 2.4.
This takes time to get used to.

Authentication and Authorization is much more modular. Many things are much more modular.
It's a giant leap if you have not done the 2.x versions in between. |
