Hi,
Having a strange problem with Apache (2.2.24) and Tomcat (6.0.32) where when I start both and request my home page Apache shuts down a socket and I get a status 500. If however I go to another page that displays fine, and then if I return to the home page that then works fine too. Everything used to work fine, and as far as I know no Apache configurations have changed since. Can someone please help me work out what the problem might be?
Here are the relevant portions of the mod_jk log:
First the initial request:
Admin note:
Moved the log output to: http://apaste.info/ynk
... and the subsequent request for the same page:
Admin note:
Moved the log output to: http://apaste.info/ddp
Next time please follow the forum rules.
I'm using Windows 7 btw.
Many thanks,
Neil |

The socket timed out for the first request. |

... any ideas why that would be? If this log entry indicates the time the request took (which looks right):
Code: | tomcat hit334nr 0.739408 |
that time doesn't seem unreasonable. Is there a setting somewhere that will make it wait a little longer |

What is your mod_jk settings? I don't know mod_jk but there should be a parameter for that. |
