Sharing the current result of an attept to build mod_spdy and mod_pagespeed on Windows.
I've tried to elaborate some fun I had with mod_spdy here(and has the link to the plugin dll):
https://medium.com/@bkchung/a-spdyer-web-page-196b5024899c
It works and is based on the trunk build of mod_spdy where it has SPDY/3.1 support. Google's probably not going to add support for HTTP/2(the current draft) since they donated it to Apache, and there's no activity in Apache to actually support this also for now.
Also some progress on mod_pagespeed here(also has as link to the plugin dll):
https://code.google.com/p/modpagespeed/issues/detail?id=49
mod_pagespeed is more complicated where some things are just not considering Windows, so the dll that was built is just (almost) purely a dummy port with a lot of runtime issues still hiding behind.
Progress is slow but I'm trying to address things as time permits. Need to see how it goes.
Thanks,

Isn't SPDY deprecated since HTTP2 is finished?
There's this HTTP/2 module for Apache httpd
and a thread on it here |
