Do we still need to install the httpd.manifest when using the apache2handler with the Apache 2.2 binary from apache.org (not your version)?

Also, is your version of the apache2handler the only version available right now? Any idea when the official version will be available on php.net?

If you don't use Apache from this page, you don't need the manifest file.
No, this isn't the only avalible version from apache 2.2.x for Windows. Now it is download able from apache.org but no ssl support.
I don't have a idea when PHP offical will support Apache 2.2 for Windows. I'm in many mailing lists from PHP, but haven't heared about that support.

Please look here for any details of planing from the PHP Team

If I'm installing the php handler on a 64-bit OS, do I need the 64-bit redistributable?
