We are running Apache 2.2.25 with OpenSSL 1.0.1e. I downloaded the package from here and in light of the recent heartbleed vulnerability, we are investigating whether or not we are affected. With that being said, we came across a pearl script that checks for the vulnerability and based on that script it does not appear this setup is vulnerable (aside from the version of OpenSSL). When this setup was made, was the -DOPENSSL_NO_HEARTBEATS option used during the OpenSSL compulation?
