I can start Apache2.4.4.(Win32) with PHP5.4.16, but not with 5.5.3.
Event viewer says: The Apache service reported...:
httpd.exe: syntax error on line 415 of ...httpd.conf:
Cannot load c:/php/php5apache2_4.dll into server. The specified procedure could not be found.
...even though this file exists and is not hidden.
The above problem occurs on a Windows XP Home computer, SP3. It does not occur under Vista Home premium. |

As written on windows.php.net , 5.5 :
◾Windows XP and 2003 support dropped.
This like the VC11 builds here.
