Mod_Security documents suggest that it can handle only http traffic.
Will it be possible for Mod_Security to track https and other network protocols?

I do not know where you read that. It inspects http as well as https Apache requests.

Thanks Steffen Smile I read in the Mod_Security handbook as it mainly supports HTTP.

Could not find it in the handbook. They talking about HTTP traffic, HTTPS is also HTTP traffic.
