Nope, the dll is only needed when run as module.
Nts you use only with e.g mod_fcgid. |

I see, I'm using NTS at with mod_fcgid at the moment.
But I'm not to happy about its performance when the PHP scripts don't have caching enabled.
For example when you turn the Joomla system cache off.
This is annoying because some applications which I use don't have any caching. |
