Apache 2.4.* not working in a DOS box. 2.2.* - works fine.
But, Apache in wampserver2.2e-php5.4.3-httpd-2.4.2-mysql5.5.24-x64 - working.
What could it be?

mod_auth_digest loaded?
mod_slotmem_shm loaded?
neither of these will run when run from DOS box unless run as Administrator.
Did you try opening your DOS box as Administrator? |

This mods loaded (however, even if them to disconnect result will not change).
I have tried to start from default user and administrator.
The results is the same. |

look in the error log and/or the event viewer. There should be a clue in one of them.
However, I just looked at wampserver. That 2.4 is compiled with VC9, so it probably installed the VC9 redistributable. If the 2.4 you downloaded from here was built on VC10, you might be missing that redistributable. Not having the proper redistributable will also cause it not to run.
There are VC9 builds here too under the Additional downloads. |

Logs are not created, cmd window blinks at start and all.
VC9 builds not running too.
