Hi Guys
We are running oracle OHS 11G which based on Apache 2.2.
We have been trying to implement reverse proxy with the virtual host, but that does not work, it instead routes traffic to document root. check below for example:
<VirtualHost cdsh-ep-dev9.tekom.co.za:7782>
ServerName sapportaldev9.telkom.co.za
ServerAdmin you@telkom.co.za
RewriteEngine On
RewriteOptions inherit
<IfModule mod_proxy.c>
ProxyRequests Off
DebugConfigInfo ON
ProxyPass /test_2.txt http://sp06supp1.telkom.co.za/test.txt
ProxyPassReverse /test_2.txt http://sp06supp1.telkom.co.za/test.txt
<Directory proxy:*>
Order deny,allow
Allow from all
</Directory>
</IfModule>
</VirtualHost>
Any idea why is it that the reverse proxy gets ignored but requests get routed to document root?

| Since you use <IfModule mod_proxy.c> you might not see if mod_proxy is not loaded. Are you sure you load the proxy module and mod_proxy_http? |
