I've been running Apache for several years now (I am now on 2.2.21) and it's been working fine. Recently, (after several MS and other updates) Apache server doesn't autostart anymore. I see nothing in the logs and nothing in the Windows Event log. I can start the service manually, either from Windows Services (already set to "Automatic") or using the Apache Monitor application. After starting, it works fine, until I do a shutdown or restart and the I have to start to again by hand.
Does anyone have any hints for things I should check?
The latest additions to my system are: Samsung Allshare and Startup Delayer from R2 Studios. |

I have to guess, but I think it is maybe Startup Delayer, cause it changes the starting behaviour of you computer. Try to deactivate or unintall it.
Bad to say, but you have to do a bit trial an error. |

Problem solved: I changed the service startup mode from "automatic" to "Automatic-delayed" in Windows Services. The delay allows the TCP service enough time to finish. |
