Hi All,
I am a total noob with anything other than PHP on Apache - I can handle the httpd.conf file...
I have a pre-built Apache on windows 64 and want to compile a *.so from this file
http://people.apache.org/~pquerna/modules/mod_flvx.c
this enables pseudo-streaming of FLV files. I have the mod_flvx.so but it only works on 32bit.
Any hints?

You have to build/compile it with e.g. Visual Studio 2008 if your pre-built Apache is also build with it.
Where did you downloaded you pre-build Apache 64, and which version is it ?
