I really don't know where there problem is.
I have a 17gb zipped file on my server that I am trying to download.
Both IE and FF report the file size as only 508mb, on two different computers.
The download window reports it as:
Type: Compressed (zipped) Folder, 508MB
Thought this fell under the MIME type defs, and zip is defined as:
application/zip zip |

if you are using an old version it will support up to 2 GB per file. That limit has been fixed in newer version fof apache.
Did you download the files inside your LAN or from the internet? |

Updated to Apache/2.2.17 (win32) Built Oct 18 2010.
Did not solve problem.
Tried to download from server, still says file size is 508mb, when should 17gb
Anyone have ideas?
Could it be counting the size as if it were a text file, when it is a zip? no, doesn't seem like it might be. Just xfered a 59mb size zip. |
