hi im new the php and apache but i am haveing toruble saving the new directives to the httpd.conf file tell me to check path and for corect file name. i am useing apache 2.2 and php5 on Windows Viste most of the how tos assume you are able to see the file extthe only httpd files i can seem to find is a txt file |

I would turn off the feature to hide file extensions in Folder Options in the control panel.
The files you want are inside the /conf folder under Apache's main folder. They are text files just named .conf
Depending on how Apache was installed you may need to open your editor as Administrator by right click on it's icon and choose "Run as Administrator" |
