Hi, Hope you can help,
I installed Apache 1.3.34 as recommended by the book I am using PHP and Mysql. I also changed the configuration as recommened and followed the book to the letter. When I tried to start Apache, I got the message: Apache Service could not be started. The Service did not report an error.
Also I checked Port80 which I think is being used to access internet files. I used Port Explorer to check Port80
Thanks
Paul

Try to download from a mirror and reinstall again
before that check the httpd.conf and look for Port if port 80 is set also look in the error log for errors? Anything in?
