I just finished to install ODBC authentication on my server.

I find all over the place how good a practice it is to use Digest (Digest is for later)
and one can support over 1000 users...

But managing 1000 users with individual accounts is impossible !!!!

Can I use something similar for getting the groups ....
all data is neatly centralized in mysql 1 query away ??
but i can not google to APACHE authorization ODBC ?????

Is there some support, or is apache in the end not usable for security -management reasons.

Hope someone can set me on the way
