Can byte range request be disabled in Apache? Is it a valid server configuration?
I'm using XAMPP 1.7.3, which includes Apache 2.2.14.

I think you can set the header Accept-Ranges: none

See the manual how to do that http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_headers.html

I don't know why you wanna disable that.
