Update:
I tried the TS version for PHP 5.2.12 and it doesn't work. As soon as you start the Apache service and try to load a webpage it says connection reset and Apache crashes and restarts.
Does anybody have SVN371 working with PHP 5.2.12? |

Sure - i use it but i have problems with Woltlab Burning Board Lite - here i get a PHP access violation when enabling the EAC cache. All other software works fine so far. |

I've also found a problem with the VC9 5.3.1 SVN371 version:
It breaks the Minify code http://code.google.com/p/minify/ and starts throwing errors in the Apache error log. Once you disable EAC, Minify works fine on PHP 5.3.1. |

Feel free to open a bug report at http://eaccelerator.net/report
That would help to fix the problems sooner! Also patches are welcome! |

PHP.net states that users of Apache from Apache.org should use VC6 x86 versions of PHP. Does that mean you must also use a VC6 version of eAccelerator for PHP 5.3.1 if you are using Apache from Apache.org?
Can I just update my current VC6 Apache to the VC9 version from Apache Lounge without having to update ActivePerl or anything else other than PHP?
I currently have the following modules which I'm told to copy from old install to new install each time I update Apache: mod_aspdotnet.so, mod_jk.so, mod_security2.dll, Apache.Web.dll, Apache.Web.Helpers.netmodule ,openssl.cnf. Since those modules came with a VC6 version of Apache, does that mean they will not work with the Apache Lounge version?
I'm asking all these questions here because I want to update my PHP to 5.3.1 but I can't seem to find a VC6 build of eAccelerator svn371. |
