I'm new to the whole mod_rewrite thing on Apache because I only just decided to use it. With it set up now as a module on my home server I just don't know how to use it, even after viewing several tutorials.
Can someone tell me how to rewrite something like:
http://localhost/index.php to http://localhost/index
