OK, I have a dev box setup right now with apache.org Apache 2.2.11 and I was wondering if I can simply overwrite the current Apache files with the ones from Apache Lounge. Will this cause any problems?

This will be done so I can use the PHP VC9 binaries.

Thanks!

If you are smart enough you can replace the files with the files from apache lounge. Before that make sure that you install the needed runtime files a discriped in the readme in the zip.

Maybe you want to make a parallel test run on a different port like 8080 to see if everything is running well.

I replaced all of the files/folders except htdocs, icons, and conf (as I have already configured Apache to my liking). Don't worry; I also installed vcredist and everything works likes a charm. Thanks!
