We use apache tomcat 5..5.9 software in conjuction with a practice management system and what we are finding is that, although it is set to run automatically it stops after a few seconds. In the recovery settings if we turn that on it still stops.
We have re installed it with another copy, thinking that the last was faulty but we still have it stopping although it is set to run automatically.
One of our sites are using SBS 2003 server and it is new and we wonder if something in their services is stopping this service or anywhere else like to startup.bat or shutdown.bat is causing the problem?
Have you ever heard anything like this and would you know of a resolution? |

considering that build is 4 and a half years old, have you thought about giving a newer build (currently 5.5.27) a try? |

Thank you for your reply.
the problem that occurs is that the apache tomcat we are using is used to produce a medical certificate for Dr's in New Zealand.
When I use the apache version 5.5.27 it will install but is not configured to "populate" the form so it has to be re programed and the server.sml file is completly different.
This is why I would like some help with why is stops and does not re start.
I know it is old, thanks again. |
