I have installed http 2.2.11 x64 on my Win 2008 x64 server.
The phpinfo() says the "SERVER_SOFTWARE" is Apache/2.2.11 (Win32) rather than (Win64)!!

Any idea? Rolling Eyes Anything wrong? Question

Where did you download your server? If it was blackdot.be I can tell you that the owner was too lazy to change the sever signature.

In my defense, After talking with some of the httpd dev members I've decided to not modify there code in any way keep them as vanilla as possible.

I submitted a patch for the win32 server sig a long time ago but it never got accepted.

Jorge, I've also seen your mail today in the dev list.

I hope this patch will be accepted soon.

Since you are such a nice guy I didn't want to blame you.

Well you do have a small point since I could always roll a vanilla one and a patched once since there are some other things like rewrite that is broken in places. But each new build gets more challenging -_-

Depending on my free time on the next release cycle I may prepare a patch set I'll post and apply to a different set of binaries but i'm not sure I'll be able ot keep that up for each build. Sad

it's only a couple lines in os.h .. they should except it. There's #IfDefined's all over the place for Win64 .. adding the tag in the tokens doesn;t seem like too big a deal. As far as I can tell that is all PLATFORM is used for anyway. I changed it to Orca once to see and that build ran just fine.

If I was doing x64 I'd do it
