OK, I have a dev box setup right now with apache.org Apache 2.2.11 and I was wondering if I can simply overwrite the current Apache files with the ones from Apache Lounge. Will this cause any problems?
This will be done so I can use the PHP VC9 binaries.
Thanks! |

If you are smart enough you can replace the files with the files from apache lounge. Before that make sure that you install the needed runtime files a discriped in the readme in the zip.
Maybe you want to make a parallel test run on a different port like 8080 to see if everything is running well. |

I replaced all of the files/folders except htdocs, icons, and conf (as I have already configured Apache to my liking). Don't worry; I also installed vcredist and everything works likes a charm. Thanks! |
