The last days I was busy with the the new Apache (expected release coming weeks)
I compiled it and the modules here at the download page(quite a puzzle).
I runs it now, and it runs perfect. Only I run php as cgi because the module from the php guys needs to complied against the new Apache. Also mod_perl needs a recompile. Must say that php-cgi is not noticeable slower here.
It is not hard to migrate, in principal the old config is working only I had to add one directive for the authorisation (to get mod_auth_phpBB working).
So very promising the upcoming Apache 2.2.
For the changes see: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.1/new_features_2_2.html
If you are interested in the binaries, contact me.
