Hello!
I am in the process of creating a separate user account to run my Apache service and I need some help.
I have the account setup to be service-only (eg no log-ins or other privileges). However, I am having some trouble starting the server, with the Event Viewer saying that it cannot access a file (and it names httpd.conf everytime, but I've already checked the permissions there, so I know its something that it refers to).
I have the following privileges setup:
- The main apache binary folder is set for (R)ead, (W)rite, and (E)xecute.
- All of the log file locations are RW
- All of the virtual host home directories are set for R
- I have given the server read permissions on the Windows directory and files (to load the various DLL files)
- I also have the Zend Optimizer running, and Apache has read access to those DLL's
- All of the PHP files are set to RWE
Yet, I still get errors. Can you all see anything that I have missed?
Thanks! |
