Thanks! Steve.

In addition to mod_perl for 5.14 & 5.16 & 5.18 ActivePerl/StrawberryPerl,
for those who are interested, I have uploaded binary 64-bit builds of
mod_perl-2.0.8 and libapreq2-2.13 components compatible with Apache
Lounge 2.2.29 Build 02 February 2015 (win64) and each of:

* ActivePerl 5.20.1 Build 2000 (x64)
* Strawberry Perl 5.20.1 Build 1 (64bit)

and 32-bit builds compatible with Apache Lounge 2.2.29 Build 03
February 2015 (win32) and:

* Strawberry Perl 5.20.1 Build 1 (32bit, no64)

You can download them from http://people.apache.org/~stevehay/

Please let me know if you have any problems.

Regards,
Steve

PS. I have not made 32-bit builds for ActivePerl 5.20.1 because it is
only available built with Perl's 64-bit-int option, which is not
possible to build with VC6 so an ActivePerl-compatible perl built with
the nmake/cl build system cannot be created for building mod_perl
against (which is currently necessary since mod_perl currently doesn't
support the dmake/gcc build system used by ActivePerl itself). This
problem doesn't affect Strawberry Perl, which has standard 32-bit
versions available, labelled "no64" -- please ensure you use that
version if you are using Strawberry Perl.

There are also now builds for 5.18.4 in the same place. As above, the
32-bit Strawberry Perl version is the "no64" build only, and there is
no build for 32-bit ActivePerl.

Steve

Hello

Many thanks for providing this binary.

Unfortunately after setting up mod_perl from https://people.apache.org/~stevehay/mod_perl-2.0.8-strawberryperl-5.20.1.1-32bit-no64.zip
Apache fails to start with the following error in event log:

Faulting application name: httpd.exe, version: 2.2.29.0, time stamp: 0x550fee6c
Faulting module name: mod_perl.so, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x54ea51fc
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000a9d8
Faulting process id: 0x2bb0
Faulting application start time: 0x01d087f5aa8dc670
Faulting application path: C:\Apache2\bin\httpd.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Apache2\modules\mod_perl.so
Report Id: e851e0f1-f3e8-11e4-a7d7-84bade3e08d9

I used the following version:
Apache: httpd-2.2.29-win32-VC9.zip

Perl: http://strawberryperl.com/download/5.20.1.1/strawberry-perl-5.20.1.1-32bit.zip

Is this the correct apache version? If not, where can I get the right one. Could not find the mentioned one from February.

Many thanks in advance!

Sorry, my fault: I used the wrong perl version. Right download is: http://strawberryperl.com/download/5.20.1.1/strawberry-perl-no64-5.20.1.1-32bit.zip

'no64' matters

Many thanks Steffen for your very quick reply!

Josef
