I am hoping that someone out there has run into this before. I have an application that runs in Tomcat. I have two instances of this application running on a single server. There is an Apache Server in front of this application performing load balancing.

The issue I have is when setting Apache to serve the static pages it requires the URI-PATH and the directory path. Both application instances will have the same URI as far as apache sees. The only thing that will be different will be the directory path. So for an example:

Alias /desktop "<Desktop Installation>/webapps/desktop1"
Alias /desktop "<Desktop Installation>/webapps/desktop2"

How is it possible to do this? I was hoping that using the jvmRoute would help because they are unique to each application instance.

Any help would be appreciated.
