--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have just installed apache on my Windows OS. I named the server address as www.viny.com (local test website) & to the default port 80. (just learning )
1)Test 1: I opened viny.com website successfully (It Works!). I did many changes like changing my connection's DNS server to 127.0.0.1 , changed the .../etc/hosts file, something in httpd.conf.
I am not sure whether which of these changes made me visit my test website [viny.com] .
Can someone tell me what change/s made the website available?
2) Test2 : Now I have changed the default port to 4020 (http.conf).how to access viny.com now?..I am unable to go to the page !
How to redirect "default ip request" to "default ip : port" ? is there any tool or anything? |
