Is there anything I have to watch for, when I migrate form mysql 3 to mysql 5?

My plan is to make a dump and than import that dump.

Advised is first migrate to 4 and then to 5 .
On the mysql site are the guides 3 to 4 and 4 to 5:

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en/upgrade.html

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/upgrade.html

Thanks for all hints and links. It worked for me to upgrade directly from 3 to 5 if I did not export the mysql db itself, only all other tables.
