Then I upgraded to Apache 2.2.8 and the error message said something different, that the expected modulo signature was some number and the returned number was 000000. I changed in the delphi source to the correct version of the "MAGIC" number and then it worked in both XP and Vista machines. The problem is: in my new machine, I created a secondary partition (D:\) and installed XP Home SP2 on it with Apache 2.2.8 running. It loads the modulo, but I got the following error mesage: httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 127 of D:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache.2.2/conf/httpd.conf: API module structure 'teste_module' in ........Teste.so is garbled - expected signature 41503232 but saw 00000000 - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO or was compiled for a different apache version. This very same module runs fine in other XP Machines and in a Vista Machine. But no in this specific machine. What could it be?
