see "Create a Self Signed Certificate"
http://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?t=778
or
make a folder/directory on the hard drive that openssl is on called /usr/local/ssl
(eg. c:/usr/local/ssl/). Copy the openssl.cnf file and copy it into /usr/local/ssl.
Windows usually will not show the file extension regardless of folder options settings
This file is usually found at openssl install folder or {apache}/conf or openssl-0.#.#x/apps if you've compiled from source. |
