Hi there,
I would like to create an eclipse workspace for Apache httpclient project. I am new to using the SVN source control. In order to bring up the Apache httpclient component, I need to use an SVN connection to:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpcomponents/
But, I am not sure how to establish this connection in the SVN perspective.
Could any one give me a heads up? sorry for posting this trivial question, but this is because I am new to the SVN. |

There is a svn plugin for eclipse. Else you can use tortoise an check the repository out by hand.
For understanding: The subversion client (tortoise or the plugin) creates a lokal copy from the files on the subversin server. |

Thanks James for your reply. I downloaded tortoise, but I am also not familiar about using it. Is there a quick guide I can follow to show me that when I have an SVN repository, how to create workspace for it? |
