My problem is best summed up by this post:

Additionally:
I have two ports forwarded (80, 45) from my Linksys WRT54G to Apache. So this blows the lone response to the above post out of the water.
Ran the portscanner at whatsmyip.org, both 80 and 45 get timeouts.
Disabled firewalls: Linksys, Windows Firewall, and Personal Firewall Plus (McAfee). Then realized 3 firewalls might be a tad on the overkillish side.
Config file set to listen on both 45 and 80.
I get the same message when trying to access Apache externally:
Interestingly enough the page title reads: User Setup
Headline reads as follows: User Login - Failed
Body: Access permission is currently denied
There doesn't seem to be much info on my own private HTTP hell on the web. So I think it's safe to assume the problem is really complicated or I'm really  .

You can access your host localy?
Does your ISP blocks ports? Some ISP block ports below 1024.
Tried to access the server from another PC in LAN? |

Hey James,
I'm glad you help. Your questions in bold, my answers follow.
Did you tried another port? Yes, I've added 8081 (>1024) and can access the server from this port locally.
You can access your host localy? I can access my host locally on ports 45, 80, 8081.
Does your ISP blocks ports? Some ISP block ports below 1024. Did a small amount of research and discovered that Symp....my ISP only blocks port 25.
Tried to access the server from another PC in LAN? I can access my server from another PC on my LAN via port 45 only. When I run netstat -a I see my host listening on all ports listed above (that's gotta be good?).
So I tried putting the port number (45 and 8081) in the IP address in the address bar in Firefox. I get an "Unable To Connect" error when entering XXX.XXX.X.XXX:45 or XXX.XXX.X.XXX:8081 and the error message I outlined in my previous post if I leave the port number at default 80. Just thought I'd share this as it might be helpful.
