Hey all,

When Apache is configured as a Reverse Proxy all requests it receives from a client are retrieved from configured resources (by the proxy) and then returned to the client (by the proxy). The client should only show connections to the Apache proxy on port 80 correct? The client shouldn't be aware of anything other than the proxy right? Am I interpretting how a reverse proxy is supposed to work correctly?

Yes, that is right. The client sees only the path you set in your config

i.e.
http://yourhost.tld/ms => microsoft.com
