I'm running Windows XP.

When i try to install Apache 2 I notice the monitor has Apache in it.

When I go to the services (services.msc) it lists Apache/1.3.33 (Win32)

I'm not sure how but I've got a Apache 1.3.33 installation on my computer that will not remove.

I've noticed several instructions to uninstall it typing apache -k etc... but I don't have a apache folder left on my computer so this option is not available.

I can't seem to find a apache/1.3.33 file to install/uninstall the proper way.

Thanks,

Daryl

Did you try with the -n option for the name of the service? You also could try sc delete Apache
