Does mod_log_rotate work with the ErrorLog?

I setup all the rotate directives and used a format for CustomLog files (CustomLog logs/access_%Y-%m-%d.log), but when I tried to do the same thing with ErrorLog, it just create a file with the substitution variables in the name.

If this isn't currently supported, is there anyway to request an enhancement?

Thanks,
-Nathan

There's a comment on the mod_rotate_logs site about ErrorLog saying it can't be done.
