Hi all,
Sadly a complete newbie to Apache, OpenSSL & mod_ssl.
The boss has asked me this week to upgrade OpenSSL after receiving a recent Cisco security notice. When I found that we were running the above versions, it seemed prudent to upgrade all three components.
Initially I downloaded the Apache 2.2.3 msi package, then the openssl & mod_ssl source thinking that I was having to walk the path of compiling new versions (something completely foreign to me). Then I stumbled onto this site - life-saver!!
I'm still very miffed about how to perform the upgrade to ensure that what we currently have now (ssl configuration) and obvious connectivity is maintained with (hopefully) as little trouble as possible.
I have read the "2.0 to 2.2 Upgrade" doco, but I got a bit lost after all I have read (state of confusion and now a lack of confidence)
Any help would be of great assistance to yours truly.
Cheers,
Cameron |
