I am trying to find out which is the best way for when someone submits a form. how i can setup apache2 and php5 to send the submitted email.

any ideas.

This for the PHP function
http://de2.php.net/manual/en/function.mail.php

for sending the mail. you have to install an email server or use the one from your provider and set it in php.ini
