Hello,

I downloaded Apache, and want to download PHP, but PHP sends link to Apache Lounge. PHP page also says using PHP with Apache is NOT RECOMMENDED! Isn't the two well known to work together?
Where is PHP download (that work with Apache)?

Guess you ment this text over there:

Please use the Apache builds provided by Apache Lounge. They also provide VC11 builds of Apache for x86 and x64. We use their binaries to build the Apache SAPIs.

If you are using PHP with Apache 1 or Apache2 from apache.org (not recommended) you need to use the older VC6 versions of PHP compiled with the legacy Visual Studio 6 compiler. Do NOT use VC9+ versions of PHP with the apache.org binaries.

It says you should Download Apache from here, not PHP.

It also doesn't say apache /php isn't recommended, but using the apache binaries from the apache side, are not recommended because the are build with VC6 and the newest PHP versions are build with VC9

Thank you for the replies.
That PHP link is the unclear page- so does it mean if you download latest PHP 5.5.8 VC11 x86 Non Thread Safe (2014-Jan-09 18:16:0Cool, then you must use Apache Lounge httpd-2.4.7-win64-VC11.zip? Because Apache.org-Apache HTTP Server 2.4.7 won't work? If so, then Apache.org should offer Apache Lounge download. And I won't need to write in if Apache Lounge labeled httpd-2.4.7-win64-VC11.zip as the 'latest Apache HTTP Server that will work with latest PHP' Smile
If this is true, could you let me know, then I just download latest PHP 5.5.8 VC11 x86, and latest Apache Lounge httpd-2.4.7-win64-VC11.zip.
Thanks very much.
