Hi! I have Apache installed on my home computer, which is connected to the Internet through a ZyXEL broadband firewall router, which uses PPPoE to actually access the Internet. My ISP filters ports < 1024, meaning that you can not access from outside any service (ftp, http, ssh, etc.). I have opened port 8880 on my router and made a port forwarding on Windows from 8880 to 80. Now the thing is that I use "mod_rewrite" to switch automatically from port 80 to 443 on any access to port 80. My question is: Do I have to also do a port forwarding like 8443 to 443 and open port 8843 in my router, or will it automatically give access to 443, because it already has the "established" flag in the TCP packet structure? I hope I made myself clear here. Wink I hope that someone can give me some tips.

With respect,
Sabin Finateanu.
