I can not restart apache under win2k3 server standart edition.
restarting from the the windows services restarting fails. Also httpd -k restart fails. -k stop and then -k start works. But that stops the server for a moment. When only puting a new vhost it realy sux to stop the server. Does anyone know a solution?
The same binaries works very fine unter winXP. I am very confused. |

Hi James,
Wish I could return the help that you've given me in the past - but I have the same configurations running under both Windows 2003 Standard and Windows XP SP2. The Win2k3 is the live system, but I backup to a Win XP box for testing and backup purposes.
I've never had any problems.
