Well, the introduction to this topic said "no question too simple!" Hope that's the case because I'm likely a bit out of my depth here... .
About a month ago, I successfully installed Circumventor from Peacefire.org. That requires Apache 2 to be installed (opensa_2.0.2.msi).
I set my router to forward to the Circumventor service at port 443. There's no port forwarding for http at the moment. Since it works for Circumventor, I assume that Apache can work as a web server if I add port forwarding for http (????).
In addition to the circumventor, I'd now like to use my home computer as a web server. I found these directions to set up Apache at:

Can I just follow those directions, setting up http port forwarding for port 80 (or whatever I use) without conflict to Circumventor? Then make the changes in httpd.conf, again without conflict?
I'm flailing a bit here under a steep (for me) learning curve... and not even sure I'm asking the right questions. This won't be a public server, only myself to access, so the next step will be to set up a password access.

| Ofcause you can run apache on port 80 when the other server is listen on port 443. |
