Split from https://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?t=6842

The build with mod_http2 1.0.8 has the same problems with Drupal 7 as my own builds with that version of mod_http2: the admin menu just does not show up sometimes. A reload will not help in those cases. I do not have the time at the moment to dive deeeper in this issue, but there definitely is a regression between mod_http2 1.0.5 and mod_http2 1.0.8.

No issues seen here with h2. The memory footprint is better.

Saw no other reports.

You will never see it in your logs.

That might be because the bug is triggered under rare circumstances. I pinpointed it down:

mod_http2 1.0.7+ misteriously changes the headers in the Drupal7 admin menu from
Code:
Content-Encoding: gzip

into
Code:
Content-Encoding: gzip, gzip

Chrome and Firefox stumble over the 'gzip, gzip'.

The issue is already resolved in the 2.4.18 release by Apachelounge. And I know it would be resolved, because I was the one that set you on the right track in the Apache HTTP Server Development list...
