Hi,
I've been asked to make some modifications to an already existing webpage. I have the username and the password but I have no idea on how to acces the page. I've got an ftp adress where I've gathered that the page was created with Apache Server, but there's no login or anything else. I've got no idea on how Apache works. Anyone can help me, please? |

is there any way you can get access to the computer that has the Apache server on it? if so you can find out what the ip is for the server with running ifconfig in the terminal. Then you can open up something like filezilla on you other computer on the same network(unless you have set up port-forward) and type in the ip address in the box that says host. then type in the username. and also type in the password. if that does not work you may try going into site manager its under the file button in the top left of the screen. once you open that on the right side of the screen that pops up it will ask for your host put the ip address in this box. then change the protocol to sftp - ssh file transfer protocol. then type in the username and password then hit connect. if that does not work let me know cause that means you may need to run a port scan on the sever to find out what port he switched the ftp to if it even has ftp on it.
Good Luck!
Hope This Helps! |
